3DS Themes are an exciting new digital frontier for customizing your system! You may have a few questions about how the process works — or about how our exclusive theme works. So let’s get to it!

- toggleI purchased Shovel Knight on an EU or AU 3DS. Where can I find my Theme Voucher?
The voucher should be included in your eShop receipt, and you can activate it right after purchase with the use button.
If you want to view your sales receipt again, use your 3DS to go to:
eShop -> Menu -> Settings/Other -> Account Activity -> Shovel Knight (View Receipt)
Scroll near the bottom and look for “Issued Code” it is alphanumeric and 16 characters long.
- toggleHow do I redeem my Theme Voucher?
Redeem your theme code from within the Theme Shop (not the eShop). You can reach the Theme Shop by touching settings icon in the upper left hand corner of the 3DS Home Menu (where you would go to change themes) then select Theme Shops.
Once in the Theme Shop select Menu -> Enter Download Code.
- toggleWill I get the EU/AU Launch Theme if I purchase or backed the Wii U/Steam version of the game?
This promotion is only available to players who received a 3DS version of the game.
- toggleI'm a European/Australian Kickstarter 3DS backer, will I be able to receive the free theme?
Yes! A redeemed backer code will include Theme Voucher just like if you had purchased it.
- toggleMy receipt doesn't have a Voucher!
Be sure to try scrolling to the bottom of the receipt to see if there is a code.

This particular theme is an exclusive to celebrate the European and Australian launch of Shovel Knight! It will not be available for purchase later in EU/AU. However, we plan to make NEW themes! With all sorts of knights in which to keep your 3DS company.

The theme needed a little more time to be “live” on the Theme Shops. Your voucher is still valid. Try redeeming the code again now!

Have you redeemed your theme..if so, do you see the theme for Shovel Knight in “Purchased Theme” section?
This is under HOME Menu Design settings > Theme Shop > Purchased Theme.
(It will sign in with the Nintendo Network ID, so you need to be
online)
If you see the theme, then you should click “Download”.
